Randy McKain
Bio
Randy McKain is in his second year as Interim Cross Country Coach at Oak Hills. McKain began working full-time at Oak Hills in 2012 as the Dean of Students and the Program Director of Youth Ministry.
After a few years, he became full-time faculty, which has resulted in being the Program Director of Youth Ministry and Addiction Counseling, and, more recently, the Director of Student Outreach, the Program Director for Pastoral Ministry, and now, Interim Cross Country Coach. Before Oak Hills, Randy spent 12 years in full-time youth ministry and 14 years in mental health, residential treatment, and addiction programs as a practitioner and director of these programs.
 
Randy’s wife, Mishele, is the Executive Assistant for Oak Hills and has been at Oak Hills for 25 years. They have three adult children and three grandchildren. In their spare time, they like to be active outdoors in various seasonal activities and sports, including golf, making maple syrup, raising chickens, snowshoeing, skiing, fishing, and bike riding.
 
About his position as Interim Coach, Randy had this to say. “I have been involved with athletics all my life and at Oak Hills for several years, and I’m excited to be involved as a coach this year.
I look forward to helping athletes grow in their athletic ability, faith, and character.”
