Wolfpack End 2024 with Total Team Victory
Bemidji, MN – The Oak Hills Men's Basketball team finished up the 2024 calendar year with a notable, total team victory over the Free Lutheran Bible College Conquerors. In a game that saw season highs in the team's total assists, steals, and offensive rebounds, this game showcased the team's ability to play together.
In a game that saw every Oak Hills player that logged minutes score, there are a lot of stats to highlight. Starting with his 5th straight game with a double-double, freshman Noah Larson (Park Rapids, MN) notched his season high with 28 points and 11 rebounds. 9 of those rebounds were offensive. Larson also added 6 steals and 4 assists on the night.
Next for the double digit scorers for the Wolfpack is freshman Caleb Smoot (McDonough, GA) who also added a double-double, with 14 points and 10 steals. Smoot also contributed 4 rebounds and 3 assists in the game.
Freshman Isaac Korell (Huron, SD) came off the bench and scored 11 points for the home team. Senior Deacon Bock (Blaine, MN) added 9 points and 3 assists from the bench as well.
This game showcased the Wolfpack's ability to share the ball, and saw a season high 25 assists as a team. It also saw team totals in steals at 33 and offensive rebounds at 19.
This was the last game for the Wolfpack for the 2024 calendar year. They will be back in action after the Christmas and Winter breaks with back to back games against the Providence Pilots on 1/10 & 1/11 at 6:30 pm and 1:00 pm respectively.
