Final Home Game Shows Great Team Shooting
Bemidji, MN – It was a full team victory for the Wolfpack, and a great outcome for their final game of the season on their home court. With a final score of 97-11, Oak Hills notched their 8th NIAC (Northern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) victory of the season. With just 2 games left in the regular season, the Wolfpack are hoping to increase that to give them a better standing going into the NIAC Tournament coming up in 2 weeks.
With all 7 active players for the game scoring in the night's victory, the ball was well shared by the Oak Hill's team. In a game that saw the team's season high in field goal percentage and tied their season high in assists, it was a great shooting night after the shooting slumps of the last few games.
Some quick highlights from the night, Senior Alexander Gonzalez (Miami, FL) had his season high in assists tonight with 16 assists. Freshman Noah Larson (Park Rapids, MN) had his season high in points on the night with 33 to go along with 12 rebounds giving him another double-double in his freshman season.
It was a great shooting night for the team with 5 of the seven players scoring 10 points or more. The Wolfpack were able to sink most of the shots they took, shooting over 57% from the floor.
The Wolfpack will be back in action for their final regular season games next weekend. They will be traveling up to Winnipeg, Manitoba to take on the University of St. Boniface in a weekend double header on February 14th & 15th.
