Ellendale, N.D. – The Oak Hills Christian College men's basketball team wrapped up a road weekend doubleheader against Trinity Bible College with a split, dropping a hard-fought battle on Friday night before bouncing back with a strong performance to earn a win in Saturday's finale.

Oak Hills opened the weekend with a tightly contested matchup on Friday evening, trading runs throughout a back-and-forth contest that featured multiple ties and lead changes. The Wolfpack led by as many as four in the second half and shot 46.9 percent from the field, but Trinity Bible was able to close out the final minutes at the free-throw line to secure the three-point win.
Junior Nate Vinson (Maple Grove, MN) led the way offensively for Oak Hills, finishing with a team-high 21 points while also dishing out seven assists. Junior Lanygel McCracken (Pensacola, FL) added 20 points and a game-high 12 rebounds to record a double-double, while Junior Keith Wilson (Pompano Beach, FL) chipped in 18 points and four assists. Saturday – Oak Hills Christian 75, Trinity Bible 67
Oak Hills responded well in Saturday's afternoon rematch, using a balanced scoring attack and a strong second half to earn a 75–67 road victory and split the weekend series.
After trailing by one at halftime, the Wolfpack outscored Trinity Bible 41–32 over the final 20 minutes. McCracken delivered another standout performance, pouring in a game-high 22 points while adding seven rebounds. Vinson and Wilson each finished with 18 points, while Freshman Joshua Deckert (Devil's Lake, ND) chipped in 13 points and seven rebounds.
Oak Hills shot 45.2 percent from the field and held Trinity Bible to just 38.8 percent shooting for the game. The Wolfpack also went 16-of-23 from the free-throw line and matched Trinity Bible with 36 rebounds, helping limit second-chance opportunities down the stretch.
Head Coach Daved Lundeen praised his team's effort following the weekend split.
"I am so proud of our guys for their composure and discipline this weekend. Trinity is a very talented, well coached team. Our guys executed our game plan to perfection both days. Playing a back to back like this with 7 healthy players should put us at a disadvantage, but despite being on the road we controlled the pace of the game and brought tons of energy."
With the split, Oak Hills showed resilience and growth over the two-game set, closing the weekend with improved ball movement and defensive execution in Saturday's win.
