Oak Hills Christian College Athletics Announces Addition of Men’s Volleyball Program

From the Office of the Athletic Director of Oak Hills Christian College, Daved Lundeen:

Bemidji, MN — May 2026 — Oak Hills Christian College Athletics is excited to
announce the addition of Men's Volleyball as its newest varsity sport, with the potential
for competition set to begin in the 2026–27 academic year. The program will compete at
the National Christian College (NCCAA) Division II level, further expanding
opportunities for student-athletes within a Christ-centered athletic environment. Men's
Volleyball continues to experience significant growth across High School and Collegiate
athletics, and Oak Hills is excited to join that momentum.

"We are thrilled with the opportunity to add Men's Volleyball as an official varsity
sport here at Oak Hills. The growth of the sport in recent years has been very exciting,
and we are happy to join the other NCCAA schools that have added Men's Volleyball.
There is a lot of excitement around the game in the Upper Midwest at the High School
level. Oak Hills is looking forward to providing an opportunity to many of those young
athletes to continue their volleyball careers at a school that will push them to grow
spiritually, academically, and athletically. We're also very excited to offer another sport
where we compete on campus, which provides an opportunity for our entire student

Nash Chaney has been named Interim Head Coach and will lead the program through
its inaugural phase. Chaney will oversee recruiting efforts and begin establishing the
Christ-centered culture and foundation of Oak Hills Men's Volleyball ahead of its first
season.

"I am super excited to be leading the charge in starting our Men's Volleyball program.
This will be another great opportunity for young men to not only compete at the
collegiate level, but grow and share their faith while doing so," said Coach Chaney.
